Sabirah’s General Services Ltd.- Home Care Agency, is a home nursing agency that has been providing Caregiving Services to the elderly in Tobago since 2022 and was established in 2023. Our services were later extended to Trinidad where we included home care for Special Needs adults and children as well as providing Pediatric home care.

Our staff are extensively certified, trained, and experienced home nurses, many of whom are Registered Nurses. We ensure our staff are well-groomed and uniformed, with pleasant, empathetic, and caring demeanor. Our nurses are experienced in caring for stroke patients, amputees, cancer patients, Alzheimer’s, dementia, and more.

Staff are also sent on ongoing workshops and courses for updated knowledge and information about the care of the elderly, special needs, or children in our community. They provide services such as medication management, bed baths, wound care, hygiene care, housekeeping, manicures and pedicures, physiotherapy, companionship, hairdressing, etc.

In our efforts to provide exceptional service with care like family, we donate complimentary care packages that contain hygiene care items, pampers, healthy snacks, fruit baskets, etc. As we are aware of the economic barriers that affect our clients and their families, we assist in providing necessary aides such as walkers, commodes, transfer boards and belts, memory pillows and leg supports, or even glucose and pressure monitor kits.

To help encourage socializing and minimize depression, we also offer senior tours — taking our patients for drives, sightseeing at the beach, park, etc.

We cater to the clients’ needs and requirements of our home service. We provide live-in, night shifts, and day shifts. Time of service is subject to the client's requests.

Sabirah’s Kids Fund

The Sabirah's Kids Fund is a venture started in April 2024, during Autism Awareness Month, where some of our proceeds go to assisting with the care of autistic children in Tobago, as many face financial challenges due to the special needs of these children. We intend to further extend this fund to Trinidad in the near future.
